Well structured and elegant, despite 40+ years of age, this Mouton still needs a while in the decanter for its bouquet to open up and release interesting nuances of nutmeg scent amidst the classic black currants, cedary and earthy aromas. Mellow tannins, nice acidity and smooth, long finish.
