This Cabernet Malbec is classically blended with 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Malbec. A full-bodied wine with bold flavours of blackcurrant cassis, dark chocolate with hints of mint and sweet leather.

palate This is a full-bodied wine with bold flavours of blackcurrant cassis and rich, dark chocolate overlaying hints of mint and sweet leather. The wine has supple, mouth coating savoury tannins that linger in a pleasing fashion. Overall a most enjoyable wine.
oak maturation The wine was matured for 14 months in French oak barrels with a medium toast (20% new, 80% mixture of 1 and 2 year old) before being bottled.
cellaring notes Crafted for immediate enjoyment but will cellar over a medium term under ideal conditions.
